My 15 year old son, who has wanted to be an animator since the age of 3 and knows just about everything there is to know about animation and comic books, said that he thought it was the best short he ever saw. He always says “after all, Pixar animation is the best animation”. I liked it a lot and believe the animation to be a step up from previous shorts. However, I did feel the story was predictable in parts. Ratatouille was sensational and I, my wife and all our kids enjoyed it thoroughly.
amelia, that IS Linguini. Shorts don't have big budgets, so they had to grab an existing human model. Would have been nice if they could have modified the face a bit so that it's not so obvious...

I saw Ratatouille and loved it. Rydstrom's short was hilarious as well! (Is it just me, or does that snoozing farmer look very much like Linguini?)
Great little short! I especially liked how the alien could move halves of his head independently from each other. And Ratatouille was a masterpiece.

Well, all the knocking around would explain why he's so klutzy. ;)
I loved it. Loved the animation, loved the green jello the aliens were made out of, everything.
I saw the short along with Ratatouille and loved it. Absolutely hilarious....
(I spotted the tin toy underneath the farmer's/"Linguini's" bed, by the way. I wonder how many other viewers have spotted it...?)

Great short! Love it. Loved Ratatouille as well.
Vic, I though having the human be Linguini was a nice touch.
