Wait, did that say presented in Disney Digital 3D at the end? Last I heard Pixar had not committed to making any of their films for 3D projection. So is this going to be a fully 3D film?
I can't wait! This looks like it's going to be so great! I love the shot of the little girl playing in her room with the balloons and house in the background. lol, and also the end of the trailer is priceless.. "can I please come in...no" :) hehe anyways, I'm definitely looking forward to this..love the character designs!
Oh, and Brian.. yes, that did say presented in Disney Digital 3D. I work projections at the movie theater and UP isn't the only Pixar feature slated for a 3D release... They are actually re-releasing the first two Toy Story's in 3D before Toy Story 3 comes out in 3D as well. I cannot wait to see Toy Story 1 and 2 on the big screen again!
There is no part of that trailer I didn't love. The part that sells it for me, though, is the hollow rubbery snarl noise of all the balloons when they're released.
OK, I have to ask...Does anyone know where the music used in the trailer is from. Most music used in trailers comes from other movies so I was just curious as to where this particular piece comes from. It sounds vaguely like Mike Verta, but I'm not familiar with it. Any inside info Victor?
Haha I haven't had a good little laugh for a little too long. That Boy scouts face during and after he is told he can't come in is priceless. haha thanks for the heads up!
That was really fun to watch. Thanks for sharing. I usually try to avoid all the pre-release hype for an upcoming picture, but I couldn't resist this time. All I need to know is that it's a Pixar movie. It'll be good.
I hope you'll have a chance to contribute to it. Oh, and congrats on the Annie!

How'd they do that with the balloons???!

Glad you guys like the trailer! I hope to do some work on that film before it finishes.
matt j - I've seen that video. I thought I looked sorta dorky so I didn't post a link.

I have no idea what that music is. I'll have to ask around.
